Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders or boneless chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed Doritos
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Cooking spray or oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  • Crush the Doritos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing them with a rolling pin. Mix with breadcrumbs if using.
  • In a bowl, whisk the eggs with milk.
  • In another bowl, mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this seasoning into the chicken strips.
  • Dip each chicken strip into the egg mixture, then coat it evenly with the crushed Doritos mixture.
  • Arrange the coated chicken strips on the tray and bake for 18–22 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy
